I was a bit intimidated at first, but the as I learned it through online sources and tutorials from Youtube there\u00c2\u00a0demonstration\u00c2\u00a0was very patient and encouraging.\u00c2\u00a0as instructed I stared through\u00c2\u00a0the basics of threading a needle,\u00c2\u00a0making simple stiches, and using a sewing machine. I was amazed at how quickly I was able to make a simple project.<\/p>\n<p>LO4 &#8211; Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience<\/p>\n<p>This experience was one of the experience I was overwhelmed for as for which I had to set some goals\u00c2\u00a0for\u00c2\u00a0myself and break them down into smaller, achievable tasks as for me sewing was something I have never done before and was something that I was self learning. There were times when I got confused and required help from my mom to move forward. other thing I learned through the learning process was not\u00c2\u00a0be afraid to make mistakes and learn from them and to value the success no mater how small. Through the learning process as I was gaining confidence on my skills I insisted on taking\u00c2\u00a0sewing projects that are outside of your comfort zone .I\u00c2\u00a0 have also learned that learning sewing is something that \u00c2\u00a0requires patience but through this experience I had fun and did really enjoy the process.<\/p>\n<p>LO6 &#8211; Engagement with issues of global significance.<\/p>\n<p>The issue of global\u00c2\u00a0significance that I have engaged with this experiment only contribute was sustainability even though it was a small way but through this experience of learning how to sew my main goal was to learn how to sew a bag from unused clothe and turning them into bad that might be used for several purposes through the idea of upcycling of cloths contributing in sustainability . and avoiding the use of plastic bags and using bag made of cloths which can be reused several times.<\/p>\n<p>LO7 -\u00c2\u00a0 Recognise and consider the ethics of choices and actions<\/p>\n<p>Respect the environment: Consider the environmental impact of the\u00c2\u00a0cloths\u00c2\u00a0I\u00c2\u00a0reused and the processes\u00c2\u00a0with cloths\u00c2\u00a0to create\u00c2\u00a0my\u00c2\u00a0sewing projects.
