Every kind of waste that could be recycled and used again was in an enormous pile of a landfill that had an offensive odor. In order to meet SDG 15 life on land, my family and I set a goal to create at least 10 recycled products.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LO 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken developing new skills in the process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The challenges were that there weren&#8217;t many materials available because the majority of the waste was dumped in the trash or a landfill, so I had to make products that were completely made of recycled materials. New forms of art and how to transform recycled materials into various categories of art were the skills I learned throughout the process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LO 6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The benefit of being involved in global problems is that we can at least make a few simple changes to create a cleaner environment and inspire others to do the same.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evidence: -\u00c2\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6662\" src=\"https:\/\/classof2024.fountainheadschools.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/20220325_111033-1-300x192.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"192\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Learner profile: &#8211; Balanced<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am trying to initiate an awareness for a cleaner environment. I\u00c2\u00a0want people to understand the importance of eco-friendly products and how we can make a balanced cycle between humans and the environment.
