<\/p>\nI have been playing for 7 years and I still love to play it as much. Recently, I was provided with an opportunity to play a frisbee tournament in my city and I took it. I prepared for this tournament for 2 months.I played the tournament with my school team and learned a lot from it. In the end we also won the tournament<\/p>\n
LO’s Covered-<\/p>\n
LO1- Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth<\/p>\n
Through this tournament I was able to identify my strengths: Good catching, good throwing, good cutting. I knew my weaknesses which were throwing the disc too low through mistakes and feedback. As I was able to notice my weaknesses, I knew what were the things that I needed to improve upon. hence, I Identified my own strengths and developed areas for growth.<\/p>\n
LO2- Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process<\/p>\n
In the tournament, the challenge that we faced was that the team had quite less players the needed. This created a problem as everyone had to play a lot and even though all our energy was drained out, we could hardly get a substitute. This helped everyone learn how to play with minimal energy. Everyone utilized their entire stamina until we won the finals.<\/p>\n
LO4- Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences<\/p>\n
I have been playing this sport since I was 8 and I practice around 3 times a week. I have been playing these tournaments since 6 years and still plan to do. Hence, justifying my\u00c2\u00a0commitment to and perseverance in the sport.<\/p>\n
LO5- Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively<\/p>\n
Frisbee is a team sport and 1 person cannot play this alone. A team has to collaborate together and play the sport in order to win. The sport and the tournament has teached me the benefits of working as a team. I gave my part in the team by playing as a cutter and helping the team achieve a goal.<\/p>\n
