It soon became clear that I needed to learn how to effectively impart my knowledge to the kids. Playing well is one thing, but through this CAS experience, I learned how to teach successfully, which is a completely different ability.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L3<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As one of the few experienced players, I was also in charge of organising the drills and lesson plans for each session. Using my prior knowledge of the sport, I had to choose the drill that would be most useful for the children&#8217;s ability level. In order to manage all the kids we had to teach, I also had to share the same information with the other volunteers and work together with them. We were able to utilise our time much better thanks to such easy collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L6<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A universal opportunity to get a good education is provided through football. Playing this sport broadens one&#8217;s perspective, especially in terms of critical thinking under pressure.
