LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning a new language is a challenging task, but it is also incredibly rewarding. As someone who has been learning French for over a year now, I can attest to the many challenges that come with it. For example, I have struggled with the pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary of the language. However, I have also learned a great deal about myself and the French culture along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the biggest challenges that I have faced is learning how to pronounce French words correctly. French pronunciation is very different from English pronunciation, and it has taken me a lot of practice to get the hang of it. I have also found that French grammar is more complex than English grammar, and I have had to learn a lot of new rules and exceptions. Finally, I have had to expand my vocabulary significantly in order to be able to communicate effectively in French.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the challenges, I have persevered and developed new skills in the process. For example, I have become more patient and disciplined as I have worked hard to improve my French skills. I have also become more open-minded and accepting of different cultures. Additionally, I have developed a new appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the French language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I decided to learn French, I knew that I needed to develop a plan to help me achieve my goal. I started by researching different French language learning resources and programs. I then decided to take a French class. I also supplemented my classroom learning with online resources and self-study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I made sure to set realistic goals for myself and to track my progress along the way. I also created a schedule for myself to ensure that I was spending enough time each week studying French. Additionally, I found a French language partner to practice speaking and listening with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO4: Show commitment and perseverance in CAS experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning a new language takes time and effort. There have been many times when I have felt frustrated and discouraged. However, I have always reminded myself of my goals and why I am learning French in the first place. I have also found that it is important to celebrate my successes, no matter how small they may seem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most important things that I have learned is that the key to success is to be consistent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, I am very glad that I chose to learn French as my CAS experience. It has been a challenging but rewarding journey. I have learned a great deal about myself, the French culture, and the French language. I am committed to continuing my French studies in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the learning outcomes listed above, I would also like to reflect on how learning French has increased my creativity. When I learn a new language, I am exposed to new ways of thinking and expressing myself. This helps me to see the world in a new light and to come up with new ideas. I believe that learning a new language is a valuable experience for anyone, regardless of age or background. It is a great way to challenge yourself, expand your horizons, and become more creative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
