Learning Garba dance for a month was a truly immersive experience that introduced me to the vibrant culture of Indian folk dance. As a beginner, I started with the basic steps of Garba which involved rhythmic footwork and hand movements. The dance required coordination between the hands and feet which initially felt challenging. But, with practice, I was able to get a hang of it. As the days passed, the dance steps became more intricate, and the choreography became more complex. I learned different variations of Garba, including Raas and Dandiya Raas. The music used in Garba was new to me, but I enjoyed the upbeat and fast-paced rhythm. Group dance practice sessions were the most enjoyable part of learning Garba. I made new friends who were also learning Garba, and we would practice together and exchange tips and tricks to improve our moves. Towards the end of the month, we had a final performance in terms of the garba days itself where we showcased our newly acquired Garba skills. Overall, learning Garba dance was a fun and fulfilling experience that I would recommend to anyone interested in exploring Indian culture through dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dancing has always been one of my favourite activities, so learning a new dance style like garba will be a lot of fun. The benefits of garba will also be available to me in India because it is a widely observed holiday. During this time, I also like interacting with others, therefore I made a great deal of new acquaintances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I identify areas for improvement in footwork and mastering complex dance patterns. My commitment shows from daily classes. I learned the nuances, perfected the dance steps, and immersed myself in the physical power of this dance form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
