I played basketball twice a week for 2 to 3 hours. The purpose behind my selecting this CAS experience is that my interest in Basketball is increasing as I watch matches and play it so I wanted to play it more so I took this as a CAS experience.<\/p>\n
LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth.<\/p>\n
In this CAS experience, I was able to identify that Basketball as a sport can be my strength as I am passionate about learning new sports. I feel very confident that now I am aware of my strengths. The reason why it is important to know your strengths is that by knowing what all things are my strengths I can better understand how to deal with my weaknesses.<\/p>\n
LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills.<\/p>\n
I have done a thing similar to this before when I was learning Football and Handball. I feel very happy that I took on this challenge and completed it. The challenge that I encounter was that I had to balance my education and my extracurricular activities.<\/p>\n
LO3: Initiate and plan a CAS experience.<\/p>\n
Starting and planning for this CAS experience requires me to prepare my daily events and schedule so that I can balance my education and extracurricular activities.<\/p>\n
The SDGs catered in this CAS experience are SDG – 3 – Good Health And Well-Being. The learner profile attributes that I developed as a result of this CAS experience is Balanced because I was balancing between my academics and sports.<\/p>\n
