Scuba diving allowed me to develop my CAS Learning Outcomes, including physical fitness, personal growth, and social skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>LO1:\u00c2\u00a0<strong> Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The experience also allowed me to develop my personal growth. Scuba diving requires immense focus and concentration, and I had to be aware of my surroundings at all times. It taught me the importance of being present in the moment and developing a sense of mindfulness. It also pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I felt a sense of achievement as I overcame my fears.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>LO2: <strong>Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scuba diving is physically demanding, and I could feel the strain on my body as I swam against the current. However, it also helped me develop my physical fitness, as I had to use my entire body to swim and maintain my buoyancy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>LO5: <strong>Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scuba diving is a social activity, and it allowed me to develop my social skills. I was part of a group of scuba divers, and we had to work together to ensure our safety underwater. We communicated through hand signals and gestures, which helped me develop my non-verbal communication skills.
