In order to learn more about it I thought making dinner for my family would be nice for me to learn different ways of cooking and different techniques of cooking, it would also help me to come to a conclusion whether I really want this as my career or not. For 2-3 weeks every night I used to make a new dish for my family, sometimes it would be dessert and sometimes I would make the whole dinner, then I used to get feedback for improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LO1 &#8211; Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this experience, I understood where was I lagging behind and what all can I do to improve my skills, researching and having patience were one of the skills where I could develop a bit more. However, during the process, I came across my strengths in this experience, baking was one of the strengths I discovered. All of this taught me that cooking is not an easy job and needs more precise skill than I thought they would.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LO2 &#8211; Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cooking food for a family of 5 was very challenging, especially when I was doing it all alone.
