I chose this project because I wanted to help my fellow students learn more about their post-secondary options and connect with potential employers. Organizing a university and career fair is a lot of work, but it is also very rewarding. I had to start by enrolling university representatives to participate. I also had to find a venue for the event, promote it to students, and coordinate the logistics of the day. On the day of the fair, I was responsible for helping students check in, answering their questions, and ensuring that the event ran smoothly. I was also able to meet with many of the representatives from universities and businesses, and I learned a lot about their programs and opportunities. I had to persevere through challenges. There were challenges along the way. For example, if some universities cancel at last minute, we had to fill in their spots by other universities.<br><br>The learning outcomes I learned are:<br>1. Identify your own strengths and develop areas for personal growth<br>2. Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience<br>3. Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences<br>4. Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively<br>5. Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance<br><br>Overall, I am very proud of the work that I did on my CAS project. I learned a lot about organizing events, networking, and working with different stakeholders.
