The initiation of this CAS experience was a journey in itself. We delved into a week-long brainstorming session to decide on the color theme and decorations, aiming to elevate the fest’s aesthetic beyond the previous year. The meticulous planning culminated in the creation of decorating items, paving the way for the grand transformation of the school’s assembly area on the day of the fest.

LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience:

The commitment to excellence demanded early mornings and sacrifices of missing time slots on the event day. The task required not only planning but also relentless commitment to execute the decorations by 3:30 on the same day. Additionally, we undertook responsibilities such as decorating the photo-booth, setting up food stalls, and managing the event seamlessly.

Being an introvert, connecting with new people and expressing my ideas posed a challenge. However, this experience served as a platform for personal growth. Collaborating with others not only enhanced my event planning skills but also increased my confidence in communicating with individuals I hadn’t interacted with before.
