Computational skills are taking the world by storm today. Computers have become a part of our daily lives and are changing our lives. Many careers today need some familiarity with programming, foundational coding, and logic-building concepts. Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are the base for the web. I wished to learn these. To get a structured environment, I enrolled in a Web Designing Course by the All India Institute for Technical Education (AICTE). I learned how to create a web page, make it look appealing, and the basic structure for online forms. All of these focus on front-end development.
LO4:
The course was challenging for me. I understand the necessity of coding. Nevertheless, I never felt very inclined toward the subject. The experience was very long and continued for more than two months. The time included a lot of Term 1 and my Diwali Break. I persisted through the experience by keeping in mind the usefulness of the skills I was learning.
These skills will also benefit me in my IB Computer Science course. No formal requirements ask the students to participate in these lessons. However, I think these will provide experiential learning for my Computer Science course.
