Recently , I had participated in creative mela being an part of the organizing committee where I was supposed to keep an account of the students visiting different work stations .Moreover the area of focus was to ensure that students are equipped with some or the other work during the duration of the creative mela nevertheless I was also determined to help students which their tasks while ensuring that all kids are involved in some work . Other than me , my three peers were even part of the organizing committee(discipline coordinators) which included Krish, Meet and Shreyansh. For which our aim was to ensure that the conduct is appropriate and students are being made to follow the above.
LO 1: I consider my self having an quality of coordination and well equipped with event-management skills which I think played an vital role throughout the event .Which I consider it is more developed than others as the role of keeping an account of each student was important and required an constant attention which I kept at the priority and managed the workshop allocation of each student by keeping up with management skills .
LO 2: The challenges which I considered was undertaken is basically the issues with discipline which I often encountered throughout the process as students were very resilient in following the instruction’s provided .Hence in order to perform my best in order to adhere to school discipline I became more attentive and started listening to each student I can reach to, moreover it led to successful allocation of students and resulted in an fruitful event . Nevertheless not only in terms of event but even students enjoyed the same and made my problem solving skills develop further .
LO 4: I showed commitment throughout the event as it was understood that school had minimum interference in this event .Moreover the student volunteer only needs to maintain certain discipline hence I was determined in order to ensure that there is good decorum and the workshops are allotted evenly .Furthermore there were instances where my despite showing commitment things didn’t went as I wanted ,hence I took help of mentor’s present on the premise .
LO 5: Collaboration is one of the most important factor in any event , in order to make the event successful and engaging .Moreover I and other discipline coordinators were having an planning done on an prior basis which resulted in no lack in communication and the benefits were that decision making was easier and quick , as everything was preplanned there was no need of discussing every moment hence due to the fact that the process was quick we managed to organize the requirements of each workshop and the allocation of students .
LO 7: In order to consider ethics on the top most priority for the creative mela success consisted of keeping account of the participants and the students coming in the creative mela slot .Furthermore in order to ensure the accountability of the students we were given student list of each grade participating in the event so that we can allot the students as per the selection made through google forms circulated from the schools end .Hence rather than neglecting the same and taking it lightly we ensured to try our best to accumulate a good number of students and put an end on the students bunking .Moreover our actions played an important role throughout the completion as almost each and every student participated .
