Robin Hood Army

Certificate

My experience with the Robin Hood Army in Surat, where I distributed food to underprivileged people, was a transformative experience that allowed me to develop my character and gain new perspectives on the world. As a CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) activity, this experience helped me to develop my strengths and identify areas for growth, take on new challenges and skills, plan a CAS experience, and engage with issues of global significance.

LO1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth.

The first learning outcome from this experience was the identification of my strengths and areas for growth. Through this experience, I was able to identify my strengths in communication, empathy, and teamwork. However, I also realized that I needed to work on my time management and planning skills to better contribute to the Robin Hood Army’s mission. By reflecting on my strengths and areas for growth, I was able to develop a plan to address these areas and become a more effective volunteer.

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills.

The second learning outcome from this experience was the development of new skills. By joining the Robin Hood Army and participating in food distribution, I was able to develop new skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving. I learned how to effectively coordinate with other volunteers and distribute food efficiently to those in need. Additionally, I learned how to handle unexpected challenges that arose during food distribution, and how to adapt to changing circumstances.

LO3 – Initiate and plan a CAS experience.

The third learning outcome from this experience was the initiation and planning of a CAS experience. By joining the Robin Hood Army, I was able to take the initiative to plan and execute a meaningful CAS experience that made a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged people in my community. I worked with other volunteers to plan food distribution events and to ensure that our efforts were effective and efficient.

LO6 – Engagement with issues of global significance.

The sixth learning outcome from this experience was the engagement with issues of global significance. Through my work with the Robin Hood Army, I became more aware of the global issue of poverty and the impact it has on people’s lives. This experience inspired me to engage with other global issues, such as climate change and social justice, and to take action to make a positive impact on the world.

As a caring and communicative learner, my experience with the Robin Hood Army in Surat allowed me to develop my strengths and areas for growth, take on new challenges and skills, plan a meaningful CAS experience, engage with issues of global significance, and cultivate empathy and effective communication skills. This experience helped me to become a more compassionate and socially responsible individual, and inspired me to continue making a positive impact on the world.
