Photography Club

Photographs play an important role in everyone’s life – they connect us to our past, they remind us of people, places, feelings, and stories. They can help us to know who we are.

LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth.

While taking photos, I realized that my approach to photography was below average, lacking a great technique for capturing pictures. This recognition highlighted a crucial area for me to focus on and develop for personal growth. The main focus was on taking small steps in learning different aspects of photography and how can I improve my shots (picture ) clicking ability more and better.

LO2: Demonstrate the challenges that have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process .

I have photographed candidate photos before a lot, and it was a long break between then and now when I joined the club. losing light in the picture than gaining/capturing is the only challenge I faced because of some silly blunders or  mistakes. In just few sessions of the club I started to see development in my creative thinking skills. A photographer  must develop creative thinking skills. During each photo he/she takes, they must anticipate surrounding changes and the aspects they are figuring out for a photo. with each potential  captured moments on the board  more understanding will be developed and identify own mistakes to improve upon it before taking another photo.

LO3: Initiate and plan cas experience

The way I planned the whole CAS Project was with the Help of my friend. We decided to make a club for photography  and teach the ones who are interested in learning the style of photography. The skill of communication was used the best during the CAS experience as we had to communicate and do the whole Project.

LO4: Show perseverance and commitment in the CAS Experience

Photography, for me, holds interest primarily in the act of doing rather than enduring the learning process over an extended period. However, I demonstrated exceptional perseverance and unwavering commitment during my CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) experience, driven by the understanding that it would ultimately benefit my personal growth and development.

LO5 : (Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively)

Working together and learning together with my friends helped me to learn from them how they take photographs. A photograph club membership provides education, hands-on learning opportunities, competitions, new experiences, field excursions, and friendship among peers who share similar interests
