I learned how to operate Photoshop during this internship, which was centered on graphic design. Photoshop is a graphic editor that offers a variety of tools and explorations. For me, this internship was significant since it allowed me to better understand one of my career choices. Making several banners and posters has given me exposure to Photoshop’s features and an understanding of how and why some elements are more crucial in design than others.

I have always had an inclination toward the field of design, and this internship has helped me grow that interest. My designing abilities have improved thanks to the supervisors’ advice in showing me how to use and grasp Photoshop’s features.
- LO 2. Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process.
It took me some time to figure out how everything worked in Photoshop because it has so many different tools and mechanisms. Since it was my first time ever seeing Photoshop set up, trying to understand and remember these numerous tools was one of the difficulties I encountered at the start of my internship. However, with practice and the help of my supervisor, I am now capable of comprehending the fundamentals of Photoshop and Graphic Design in general.
- LO 4. Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences.
My internship supervisor began by teaching me the fundamentals of graphic design using Canva, an online platform with a variety of design styles. After that, my supervisor began showing me the fundamental Photoshop tools after I had a chance to work on some designs and had been given practice material to experiment with other tools. When I had trouble using a tool, my supervisor would explain the tools to me through keyboard shortcuts, which makes working on Photoshop easier. After a few sessions of me utilizing the tools and exploring them, I was assigned projects that I had to finish within the given deadlines.
This internship has been a very intriguing experience for me and has encouraged a growing interest in the subject of Graphic Design.
