LO 1 : Identify your own strengths and develop areas for personal growth
I discovered skills like willpower and mental toughness that I had never before acknowledged. I simultaneously recognised that I had room for improvement, notably in terms of my ability to overcome fear and build physical strength. I’ve been motivated to improve both my physical and mental abilities as a result of realising these qualities.
LO 2 : Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
I improved my problem-solving skills, my spatial awareness, and my rope handling and climbing manoeuvring abilities. These newly acquired abilities have improved my rock climbing experience as well as being useful in other areas of my life.
