Making skincare products

This was an exhibition which catered career oriented activity. This included exhibiting my created products, where I had to create my own goods and sell them to various people.

LO 3: Here I showcased the 3rd learning outcome where I had to initiate a cas experience. As I was very passionate about my hobby/career (operating a skincare business), we created and held an exhibition where I exhibited skincare products like soaps, body scrubs, lip balms.

LO 5: I also showcased the 5th learning outcome, where I had to demonstrate the skills and recognise the benefits of working collaboratively. I first learnt how to do hands on with the raw materials and then collaborate with people and demonstrate my skills.

LO 7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions, usually in skincare products, many individuals use or test their goods on animals or make them with the help of animal skin or animal derived materials which makes them non vegan and not ethical. At the same time, they also add on chemicals which are harmful to the environment and the humans. Because of which, I didn’t test my products on animals, didn’t even use any materials which was derived from animals and didn’t add harmful substances which would create any negative implications on the ethics of this activity.
