Tree plantation drive

I made the decision to take part in a tree-planting drive that was sponsored by a nearby environmental NGO. I was able to actively contribute to my community through this experience while also learning new things and taking on difficulties. Also, i contributed to the SDG life above land.

Participation Active (LO2):
I and the other volunteers showed up at the venue on the day of the event. We received instruction on how to plant trees properly, how to prepare the soil, and how crucial the type of trees we chose were to the health of the surrounding ecology. I had a lot of difficulties as a volunteer: Digging trenches, lugging saplings, and working in the sun were all necessary for planting trees. To keep up with the speed, I had to exert a lot of physical effort. Effective teamwork and communication were necessary when working with a varied group of volunteers. To guarantee that the trees were planted correctly and effectively, we had to coordinate our efforts.

Organizing and Getting Ready (LO3):
By starting and arranging this CAS experience, the voyage got underway. I helped and looked for regional environmental NGOs and got in touch with the group in charge of the tree-planting drive. we got in touch with the coordinator of the NGO to learn more about their needs, goals, and how we might successfully participate. We talked about the timetable, security precautions, and the quantity of trees that would be planted. We had to be able to communicate well during this planning phase and come up with a comprehensive action plan.

In conclusion, by taking part in the Tree Plantation Drive, I was able to complete my CAS requirements and gain useful skills and information. It was a rewarding experience that strengthened my dedication to environmental protection and volunteerism.
