My involvement in organizing the Freshers’ event for Grade 11 students, where they were introduced to the Diploma Programme (DP), holds a special place in my memory as a Grade 12 student. We kicked off the academic year with high energy, promoting creativity and physical engagement through hosting, dancing, interactive initiatives, and collaborative efforts. My unwavering dedication to the event’s triumph was evident in my persistence and wholehearted commitment throughout its planning and execution, showcasing my resilience in the face of challenges.

Being a part of the organizing committee we had to face a lot of challenges but those challenges led us to enhance and acquire skills throughout the CAS experience. There were problems in deciding on the theme and ideas. All of us had to come to the same page and decide one thing. There were minor hiccups in logistics but we solved that issue together which helped us in polishing our skillset and helped us learn from this experience for further.

I spent a significant amount of time to make sure the Fresher’s party is as good as we planned. Me and the other team members everyone was dedicated to making this party a success. Making the invite for fresher’s and editing videos for the party, all of this was very time consuming and I had to do it in less time as there were other things to take care as well. As the host of the party, we were rehearsing the script and making changes and improvising. We came in early to school for the decoration of the venue we made the decor items on our own which took most of our time.

Brainstorming different ideas each and every person is creative and unique and putting those mind together is definitely a success. During the Fresher’s Party, the team’s coordinated endeavors were evident. We adeptly organized the event, supervising diverse activities, maintaining a seamless program flow, and promptly resolving any issues that emerged. The favorable responses from both participants and educators underscored the triumph of our collaborative work.
