Race2Embrace 2.0 – Project

Last year I took part in the Race To Embrace event. Throughout 2022–2023, there were many sessions. I felt rather pleased with myself for being able to progress personally despite life’s setbacks. Every time new people were invited, we had a great time, which is why these sessions were so exciting and i had a lot of new learnings throughout the whole journey. The similar thing happened when I was in grade 12, and I had the chance to join the Core Committee of R2E 2.0. I was a member of the logistics team to assist with session planning because this is a long-term project that requires 10-11 sessions. Additionally, we get to meet a ton of new people that inspire us in every manner possible. “Coming alive” was the theme of the first race to embrace session, when we got to know “Nimesh Patel,” better known as “Nimo.” He was involved in the founding of the non-profit Manav Sadhna in Ahmedabad. After talking with Nimo about his background and his want to serve as a full-time volunteer for this organization, which uses music to promote kindness and unwavering love.

In further sussions of Race to Embrace program, which is run by Tushita Gupta Ma’am and Parag Shah Sir, a selected group of students have met once a month to discuss topics such as “kindness,” “coming alive,” “nurturing relationships,” and “success.”
