When I first had the notion to organise the “University Fair,” I wanted to start something that would not only spread knowledge but also foster an environment that would support both academic and individual growth. I had no idea how this project would develop into a forum for learning, development, and exploring global prospects.
LO3-My devotion to exhibiting initiative and perseverance was evident throughout the University Fair. From the beginning to the end of the planning process, proactive decision-making and a strong mindset were required at every stage. Faced with both expected and unexpected obstacles, I came to understand that leading a project requires not only strategic planning but also the ability to adjust and persevere.
LO5-The University Fair’s collaborative atmosphere provided an opportunity to improve communication and teamwork abilities. Effective communication and teamwork are crucial, as demonstrated by peer collaboration, interactions with university representatives, and coordination with school staff. LO5 was evident when different skill sets were seamlessly combined to achieve a common goal. This collaborative effort strengthened the school community’s sense of unity while also improving the event.
LO7-the learning objective highlights how crucial ethical factors are when making decisions and taking actions related to the CAS project of planning a university fair. Throughout the project, it encourages students to be aware of fairness, honesty, inclusivity, environmental responsibility, and polite interactions.
In conclusion, the University Fair evolved into a space for implementing learning objectives three and five rather than merely being a means of disseminating information. This experience demonstrated my initiative and tenacity and demonstrated the advantages of teamwork. Upon reflection of this trip, I am even more convinced that community members committed to growth and learning must work together to achieve good goals.
