University fair – Volunteer

The University Fair: More Than Just Information

I set out to volunteer for the “University Fair” not just as an informational event, but as a platform for personal and academic growth. Little did I know, it would become a journey of self-discovery, pushing me to learn, adapt, and explore global possibilities.

Taking Initiative and Adapting (LO3): The University Fair became a test of my perseverance. From initial planning to execution, every step demanded proactive decision-making and a determined spirit. Anticipated and unforeseen challenges taught me that volunteering in a project requires not only strategic planning but also the ability to adapt and persevere. It was hard managing the crowd during that time but it was very helpful to me due to my determined nature.

Collaboration: Strength in Unity (LO5): The fair’s collaborative nature proved to be a valuable learning experience. From navigating communication with school staff and engaging with university representatives to working alongside fellow students, I witnessed the power of collaboration and effective communication. LO5 came alive as I saw diverse skills come together to achieve a common goal. This collaborative effort not only enriched the event but also fostered a sense of unity within the school community.

In conclusion, the University Fair transcended its initial purpose. It became a canvas for learning and applying LO3 and LO5. The experience showcased my initiative and perseverance, while also highlighting the transformative power of collaboration. This journey served as a reminder that meaningful projects extend beyond individual efforts, relying on the collective strength of a community dedicated to learning and growth.
