I recently had the opportunity to lead a virtual guest session on technology for the students of Sunshine International School. As a technology enthusiast, I was thrilled to share my knowledge and experience with the students and help them understand the impact of technology in today’s world. I also prepared a detailed presentation on various aspects of technology, including its evolution, the latest trends, and its influence on multiple sectors.

LOs met:

• LO2
  Since this was my first time ever leading a guest session, I faced multiple challenges such as the presentation not looking appealing/felt boring but with enough research, I was able to counter the same and at the end, the students really enjoyed the presentation and found the session very interesting.
• LO3
  Leading a guest session is not an easy task, I had to research and prepare for weeks, making the presentation, preparing the flow of the session, etc. Everything had to be planned well and there had to be no flaws in the session hence the whole experience was planned out.
• LO4
  As mentioned earlier, this 1-hour session required weeks of preparation, and I had to be committed to making sure the session had no hiccups, although there were multiple moments where I felt lost, not knowing what to do, I did not give up, and showed perseverance in the same.
• LO6 As I interacted with the students from Sunshine International School, I was reminded of the digital divide that exists globally, where not all students have equal access to technology and educational resources. This realization prompted me to consider the importance of initiatives aimed at bridging this gap and ensuring equitable access to technology-enabled learning opportunities for all students, regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds.

Overall, the virtual guest session was a great success. I was grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge and passion for technology with the students of Sunshine International School.
