HI, I am Palaash Dubey .It is because of a teachers hard work and dedication that we as students learn and grow into a better person every day.They not only give us knowledge of a specific subject but they also teach us life lessons.And to show gratitude towards them and to thank them we organised an event .In this event i was incharge of Games and making envelope’s for gift cards.We did early in for 3 days before the event .We discussed and roles were assigned  .

Throughout the event i demonstrated the following learning outcomes:

LO1: Identifying our strengths and developing areas for personal growth.

Through this event i identified that my strengths are that i am good good at adjusting with my peers and sometimes leaving my comfort zone .Though i don’t usually get along with every one but i can adjust well with them.During this event we had to do a lot of group tasks and had to work with others in order to complete them. I never got into an argument of conflict with anyone.Even though there were moments but i tuned well .Also I developed communication skills , i usually don’t speak in group discussions and i have trouble putting my point because i don’t have enough confidence but i tried getting involved and putting my points and ideas .I tried to speak as much as possible .

LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process.

I developed management skills as I had a lot of work to do despite early in’s i still had to take time out to complete them. Usually i complete my school tasks and assignments at school but due to this i had to do them at home. As I had to come down and work during my free time . so i had to learn how to manage it .

LO4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences.

As it was my first time helping in an event i was not as experienced as others.I was not as confident with my ideas and some things were new to me . I tried to communicate as much as possible and kept pushing my limits. I developed communication and social skills.

LO5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.

An event can not be managed alone and there are many benefits of working collaboratively with others. Working together i developed communication skill as Communication is the foundation of effective teamwork. I also developed listening skills and social skills .We have to respect opinions and even though we do not agree with others point we have to adjust and cooperate.we have to be openminded .

Overall this event helped me develop my skills, it helped me identify my weakness and strengths .I also learned new lessons. .
