Trekking – Mount Abu

As a part of our educational trip, we went to Mount Abu where we engaged in several activities such as trekking, rock climbing, rappelling, and caving. Some of the treks that we did were the Mowgli land trek, Golden horn chimney trek, and Sunrise trek. Going somewhere else rather than to classrooms and talking till late at night till the stars disappeared. Being with our friends and cherishing each moment while completing the trek, was what was going to make this trip memorable for us.

LO1: “Identify your own strengths and develop areas for growth.”
During the trek, I got to know my strengths and weaknesses which will help me in the future to grow in that aspect.

LO2: “Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills.”
There were many challenges taken as the treks were done at high altitudes and there were times during the golden horn chimney trek when we had to be slow and careful as to where we stepped.

LO4: “Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience.”
I showed commitment in this CAS experience as I am not very fond of heights but still did this trek to overcome my fear and check it off of the CAS list.
