Mental health is not a destination but a process. Have you not where you are going. Psychology has always been my point of interest, l like understanding what people think or what they might need help with. Learning about sports psychology was very interesting. This course caught my eye and I knew I had to do it. I learnt what all issues a sports person has before matches / events and what all solutions are there for the same.Â
LO 1- Identify your own strengths and develop areas for growth.Â
Identifying my strengths and areas for growth in this course can help me better understand myself, set goals, and work towards self-improvement. Identifying my owns strength And the areas of improvement is just the first step to make real progress I need to take action and work towards self improvements.
LO 2- Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process.
The challenge I took while doing this course is taking new knowledge and learning about something new. For example learning about how we can treat a sports person if they have that pressure build up before the match or the competition and in what ways we can overcome it.Â
LO 4- Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences.Â
In this course I had to show commitment towards the learning I get from the course. As it would be really important for the future and also the information given can be really important for the quiz I got between the courses as it played a major role in achieving the certificate.Â
To sum up everything, I gained understanding of how a sports psychologist treats a sports person under pressure of the event. This helped me gain an interest in sport psychology.Â
