LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills:  Overcoming this challenge was a daunting task. I knew how to solve a Rubik’s cube, but I didn’t how to participate and also didn’t understand any of the rules of competing in a tournament. However, when I got there, the judges gave me a quick tutorial on how things work and how to give my best shot. I learned something new at the event.

 

LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience: While I registered for the event, I started practicing my skills for getting a chance to win. I participated in the 3x3x3 cube type. I used to practice for at least 1 hour daily and got better at it over time.

I displayed the learner profile Balanced as I managed to make myself better at Cube solving. This helped me better to make my mind sharper too. I was able to make better use of my time rather than spending it on a screen. Also, this was my first tournament.
