Global Odyssey (Food Stall)

Last week, my friends and I participated in the annual traditional event of our school called “Global Odyssey.” We decided to set up a food stall in the event’s food sector and sell delicious Indian street food, including aloo puri and sev puri and a unique milkshake. Our stall quickly became popular among the event-goers, and we were thrilled to see the positive response from them.To prepare for the event, we applied our business management and economics knowledge to maximize our profits. We used the price mechanism to determine the optimal prices for our food items, keeping in mind the cost of ingredients and competition from other stalls. By doing so, we were able to attract customers and earn a decent profit. But we didn’t stop at just maximizing our profits. We also wanted to contribute towards a good cause. Therefore, we decided to donate 5% of our sales to an NGO that works towards the betterment of the future. We felt proud to contribute towards a cause that we strongly believe in and make a difference in the world, even if it was just a small contribution.Overall, our experience at the Global Odyssey event was fantastic. We learned valuable lessons about entrepreneurship, applied our knowledge from business management and economics, and contributed towards a good cause.
