Teacher’s day event

Teachers are the unsung heroes of our society. They work tirelessly every day to educate us and shape our future Despite their hard work, teachers often go unnoticed and under appreciated. To show our gratitude and give back to our teachers, we organized a special event for them on Teacher’s Day.The event was a whole day specially organised for teachers to have a break and enjoy and have some fun. After working so hard every year, they deserved one free day to have a good time. The aim of this event was to show our appreciation for all the hard work they put in and give them a day to remember. We planned a range of fun games, musical performances, and dances so that the teachers could have a joyful day. From a game of Dog in the bone to a garba session, we made sure there was something for everyone. It was heartwarming to see the joy on their faces and to be able to give back to those who have given us so much. It reminded us that teachers do a lot for us, not just in educating us about academics but also about life in general. This event was a small token of our appreciation for all that they do.

LO2 : Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

By planning and organizing this event, we were able to enhance our organizational and leadership skills, as it was a student led event and we all had our inputs, we organised the event on own and also I was in chard of the musical performances category so I led that category by choosing the songs and members etc. We also developed our communication skills as we had to liaise with teachers, and volunteers to ensure the event’s success.

LO4 : Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

In organizing this event, we demonstrated our commitment to our teachers and the community. Despite facing obstacles and challenges, we persevered and ensured the event was a success, such as the different timings available for different students to practice, and plan the event together, booking an appropriate venue for the teachers and decorating the venue by resources needed a lot of commitment.

LO7 : Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions

By organizing this event, we demonstrated our ethical responsibility towards our teachers and the community. We also understood the impact of our actions on our teachers and the community, and how small acts of kindness can go a long way.
