French immersion was the first event i took part in as a new student in this school and it was a pretty event i got to learn many things and there were many things i needed to practise for this event like speaking in french and representing a francophone country that was switzerland and also my task was to find some good french memes and also i had to help in the decoration of the event which for me was the hardest part cause i am not so good in doing these creative things and i had to learn many things in order to get everything done .

LO1 - Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

I identified that i had a weakness in drawing and painting and my strengths were that i was able to communicate with with people because i am an extrovert  .Knowing our strengths and weaknesses helps us become more self-aware. Self-awareness is the ability to recognize and understand our own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. When we know our strengths and weaknesses, we can better understand our own motivations and patterns of behavior.Knowing our strengths and weaknesses can help us identify areas for personal development. By understanding our strengths, we can focus on developing those areas even further, while recognizing our weaknesses can help us work on improving in those areas.We can use our strengths to our advantage and set goals that align with our strengths. At the same time, we can set goals that address our weaknesses and help us improve in those areas. I worked on my weakness by slowly learning how to paint . I think if i had improved a bit more on painting i would have made more attractive or decorative flags of francophone countries flags and it would have looked more attractive

LO3 - Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience

It was very important for me to plan because i was in decor team ,i had to find french memes and also prepare for my french stall  so time management was the key . I made a timeline of what i will do timewise . I am always organised in terms of studying and event management but this event was very difficult for me to handle because i had my Maths AAHL S.A. and i had very less time to prepare for french decorations and also i had my maths S.A. in the next slot so there was a lot of pressure on me .Planning has been my first most important step while doing or starting anything . Planning and initiating activities is essential for accomplishing our goals. Without a plan, it is difficult to know where to start, what steps to take, and how to achieve our desired outcomes. By planning and initiating activities, we can break down our goals into smaller, manageable steps, which makes them more achievable.Planning and initiating activities is also important for effective time management. By having a plan in place, we can prioritize our tasks and allocate our time more efficiently. This can help us avoid procrastination and ensure that we are making progress towards our goals.

LO5 - Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively

Working with other’s as been a slight challenge for me cause most of the time i do my work all by my own and sometimes i get a bit angry on the people i work with thus leading to making the whole team’s mood off . Therefore , i try to not speak anything but its not everytime this happens . I overcome this challenge that everyone has different perspective and opinions and its not that everytime we are right . It was not much important in the main event but it was important in the decor team cause we had to work with everyone collaboratively .

Overall this was a very good experience i learned about swiss culture and also enjoyed some french memes while i was searching for it .
