Every year, our school organizes an celebration for the graduates, ‘convocation ceremony’ wherein students come together to take their scrolls and toss their hats. I volunteered for helping the school to organize this event as an cas experience, I developed many skills such as communication and social skills.

LO2:- Organizing a convocation can be a complex task, requiring us to overcome numerous challenges. We considered logistical constraints, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure smooth event execution. By facing these challenges head-on, I developed resilience, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Some challenges were that some of the students were unable to attend the event so managing their roles as well on that instance was a tough role.

 

LO3:- The convocation ceremony provides a clear goal for the organizing team. By setting objectives and timelines, we were involved in the planning process learn to work towards achieving specific targets. I gained valuable experience in goal-setting, time management, and perseverance, as we as a team had to coordinate various aspects of the event, such as guest invitations, and program scheduling.

 

LO4:- Organizing a convocation requires considerable dedication and perseverance. Our team was involved in the planning process which encountered setbacks and obstacles. However, by persistently working towards their goals, we learned to overcome challenges and achieve success. This experience instills a sense of determination, resilience, and the understanding that setbacks are an integral part of the learning process.

 

LO5:- A convocation involves teamwork and collaboration at every stage. Our team worked together to delegate responsibilities, assign roles, and coordinate efforts to ensure a successful event. Through this collaborative process, we learned to communicate effectively, delegate tasks, resolve conflicts, and appreciate diverse perspectives. Such experiences foster a sense of camaraderie and teach the importance of collective achievement.
