The enthusiastic school students form and conduct clubs. These clubs usually are managed and operated by the students and monitored by teachers in planned free slots. One such club in which I choose to take a part is the rubik’s cube club of school. In the club, my peers who were more than familiar with different variations of the cube taught me to solve using a plethora of techniques. The experience was fruitful as well as fun.Â
During these fun learning sessions, below are a list of learning outcomes learned :Â
LO2 -Â [ Demonstrate the challenges that have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process ]Â
It was my first time that I had even had the rubik’s cube in my hand. During these planned sessions, I understood how the rubik’s cube enhanced one’s gross and fine motor skills. The hand-mind coordination was even worked upon. In the start, it was quite difficult for me to understand the various patterns that the colors made. Furthermore, it was even more difficult for me to catch the speed on other different shapes of the rubik’s cube such as the triangular one. All in all, slowly and gradually, I learned to solve one side of the cube to solve the entire cube. It was a fun experience.Â
