The Global Odyssey is an event held in our school to give the students an exposure about how a business functions. This event was held on 23rd of February and all Business Management students participated in this event including some Economics students too. We had to get in a group and have a stall where we would sell our products or have games.
LO2: Prior to Global Odyssey, I had no cooking experience. I was only capable of making simple meals like grilled sandwiches and garlic bread. I had to pick up a new skill because I needed to bake pizza and samosas for the gathering. We encountered numerous issues during the festival itself, such as receiving the corner stall, which meant less people came by, and the stand being wet, which caused additional issues.
LO3 and 4: This CAS experience needed a lot of dedication and tenacity because it took a long time to arrange the event. Prior to the occasion, we had to dedicate our time to planning and learning to cook.
LO5: To effectively conduct this event, we had to do a number of time-consuming tasks. This is when working together was beneficial. In order to service more customers simultaneously, we divided our tasks among our groups while concentrating on our own tasks.
