I just finished my CAS experience by competing in a frisbee competition. I was thrilled to have the chance to apply my knowledge and expertise to benefit my community as a long-time participant in the sport.
LO 1 :
Every person has talents and limitations, and identifying them and focusing on them may be highly beneficial, particularly in sports. I had a lot of opportunities to learn from the individuals I met at the event, which I did as I worked to improve my abilities and use them in my matches to support my team.
LO 2 :
There were many teams competing in the tournament, and in order to compete with them, we all had to improve our talents because there were players who were more experienced and older than us. In order to compete with them, we all took on tasks that required us to learn new skills.
LO 4 :
We had a blast competing in the tournament, but when the game started, nobody in the squad would joke about or act in an unsportsmanlike manner since we were all focused on winning the game. This demonstrated our endurance and commitment to the experience.
LO 5 :
Since frisbee is a team sport and cooperation is essential to success, especially when all the other teams are more skilled than ours, our coach and teammates assisted us all in showcasing our abilities and honing them while also demonstrating the advantages of teamwork, which we eventually adopted.
Overall, my CAS experience gave me a terrific chance to give back to my community while putting my abilities and passion for frisbee to work. I had a great time competing in the competition and got to meet new people while honing my abilities. I’m appreciative of the opportunity, and I want to take part in additional competitions in the future.
