Cross Country run

LO1: These races provided me with the opportunity to analyze my physical and mental strengths. I recognized my endurance and tenacity to be strengths, but I also realized that I needed to improve on my stamina and resilience.


LO2: Running greater distances in these events presented a huge challenge for me, forcing me to learn new talents. In the process, I perfected my pacing methods, improved my running form, and acquired both physical and mental endurance.


LO3: Careful planning and preparation for these races is required. I had to plan my training, establish realistic goals, and manage my participation in the numerous races. This encounter demonstrated my ability to begin and design a CAS experience from a personal standpoint.

LO4: Finishing these marathon races, especially the challenging 5-kilometer races, required steadfast devotion and tenacity. Overcoming fatigue and psychological difficulties highlighted my commitment to the CAS experience.


LO5: Despite the misconception that running is a solo activity, I trained with a group of other runners. We gave helpful hints, encouraged one another, and exercised together. This collaborative approach taught me the value of working together toward a common objective.


LO6: While the marathon may appear to be a local event, it is linked to worldwide issues about physical fitness and well-being. My marathon participation represents my involvement in the worldwide problem of promoting a healthy lifestyle and emphasizes the value of individual well-being in contributing to a healthier global community.
