Beach Cleaning

I was fortunate enough to participate in the world coastal drive organized by the SMC to clean up our city’s local beach. Despite the scorching sun, hundreds of volunteers like me woke up early to show our dedication to this noble cause.

As we gathered at the beach, we were welcomed by the sight of piles of trash scattered across the sand. It was disheartening to see the level of pollution, but we were determined to make a difference. Armed with gloves, masks, and trash bags, we worked tirelessly to clean up the beach.

For hours, we picked up litter, plastic bags, bottles, and even discarded clothing. It was hard work, but the feeling of satisfaction we received after seeing the beach clean was priceless. It was heartwarming to see the beach restored to its natural beauty, and it gave me hope that we can still make a difference to our environment.

The experience taught me that it takes just one step at a time to make a positive impact. Every piece of trash we picked up was a step towards a cleaner and healthier environment. It was inspiring to see so many people come together for a common cause, and it made me realize that we all have a responsibility to care for our planet.

As I left the beach that day, I felt a sense of accomplishment and happiness. It was a reminder that we all have the power to make a difference, and it starts with taking action.
