Driven by a commitment to environmental stewardship and community service, I enthusiastically participated in the Dumas Beach cleaning event as a part of my CAS project. Little did I know that this experience would not only contribute to the betterment of the environment but also serve as a catalyst for personal growth and global awareness.
LO 2: Challenge & Skills: The beach cleaning event presented a significant challenge – addressing the environmental repercussions of littering and pollution. Through this experience, I developed new skills in waste management, effective communication, and team coordination. This initiative required an extension of existing skills and the acquisition of new ones to contribute meaningfully to the cause.
LO 4: Commitment & Perseverance: My commitment to the Dumas Beach cleaning project was evident through regular involvement and active engagement. Facing the challenges posed by environmental degradation, I showcased perseverance in the pursuit of a cleaner, healthier ecosystem.
