Hindi is one of the most spoken languages in India. But due to the rise of English, people are starting to forget the importance of Hindi. Because of this, we had planned an event based on Hindi. On 18th of November, an event was planned out in our school where we had to take up stalls and plan activities related to the Hindi language. We organized games and everyone would come and play those games.
LO3: This experience required a lot of planning. We had to plan different engaging games that could be completed in under 2 minutes. We also had to plan how the games would be played out and had to divide our roles accordingly.
LO4: This CAS experience took a lot of perseverance and and commitment. We had to plan a lot of things like the games we were going to include and had to make the final games ourselves. As there were a lot of people during the event, another challenge was to make the games of a shorter duration as the number of stalls were very less and we had to give everyone a chance to participate.
LO5: As it were a lot of people, I couldn’t have done it alone. This is why I formed a group with my friends and we split our tasks by giving 1 game to each member to handle. This way, we were able to entertain more people at the same time by having 3-4 games at once.
LO6: The Hindi language is slowly fading away in our lives. More people are starting to adapt to English and are using it in their day to day lives. To keep the Hindi language from dying, we had made these fun games in Hindi. This way, the Hindi language would still hold a significant place in others’ lives.
At the end, I was really happy to see others enjoy their time at the event and even I had fun making those games and working with my friends.
