Volunteering at a Rubik’s cube competition- Service

Volunteering for the Rubik’s Cube Competition was an eye opening experience. It involved scheduling the event, and helping with the logistics of the competition. It taught me the value of organization and teamwork, and also allowed me to contribute certain competition situations and skills. LO1-Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth Volunteering in the Rubiks Cube competition showed me my strengths such as quick learning and adaptation. But it also revealed areas for improvement, including time management and stress management. Thanks to this experience, I had the opportunity to improve myself and realized that improving myself is a continuous journey, like solving a cube. LO2-Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process Volunteering in the Rubiks Cube challenge gave me a platform where I could demonstrate my willingness to overcome challenges and develop new skills along the way. I initially faced challenges in understanding the competition, but with determination I learned how to manage time, collaborate, and communicate effectively. This experience not only improved my skills, but also reinforced the importance of adapting and solving problems in a positive environment. LO5-Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively Volunteering in the Rubiks Cube challenge highlights the skills and benefits of collaboration. I volunteered in a great event as part of a professional team and shared responsibility, promoting the idea that we can achieve more together and creating an event that celebrates the successes of the Rubik’s Cube community.
